Our desire to ‘give something back’ is part of the DNA of our organisation.

With over €1 billion spent by businesses every year in Ireland on advertising, we believe that some of this spend can be used for good use. The Advertise for Good initiative was launched in August 2021 where a percentage of Buymedia’s advertising spend is contributed towards worthy causes. Advertisers and media partners are also encouraged to contribute a percentage of their revenue and ad space respectively. Unicef Ireland was the first chosen charity as part of the pilot programme and they received over €20,000 in funding.

Buymedia wants to extend that support to local communities by providing funding to community organisations that are working hard to make a difference. This year, the Advertise for Good initiative will be extended to the three regions across Ireland and aims to provide funding to three local charities – chosen by you.

Nominate a charity that matters most to you before July 31st.

The fund for 2023 will be distributed between the top three nominated charities.
1. Nominated Charities must be registered on the Charity's Regulator's website here.
2. Only one nomination per person will be accepted.

Thank you for your submission - the chosen charities will be announced in July.
